Lenovo with Windows 8.1

Date:September 13, 2014
"this desktop is not easy to use at all, probably not due to the computer, Lenovo, but due to the operating system, Windows8.1. Very user unfriendly. I still have problems with email (connection very slow), sending a web link by email (can't do it), video attachments sometimes dont play, and the weir feature of printing job need to done through "send to onenote". I learned to use XP entirely by myself with no difficulties at all, but this 8.1, seems that everything is more diffifult. Don't understand why Microsoft would change things that worked perfectly."

Not easy for me to learn

Date:September 12, 2014
"This computer is my first with touch screen (not my cup of tea) but I thought I would try it. With some help from Best Buy people (Geek Squad) I was able to do much better. And then it began to malfunction....upon booting up it invites me to "update Microsoft". Once I open Search, etc icons I can click on Start , Lenovo, and then to Internet Explorer to find what I want. Then I can function all right. I have yet to learn Apps. I would be open to an exchange perhaps other than touch screen or just another unit that works."

Worth it, good computer

Date:September 6, 2014
"The display and everything is really nice. The built in wifi is ok, but I had no problem fixing it. I tried to install LoL, which is a video game, and I had some problems, but again, able to fix. So far the computer has been great though, totally worth buying. Processer is nice, if you are going to be installing ALOT of stuff it may be a little slow, but that was only after installing serveral professional programs such as Unreal Development kit, Adobe Photoshop, ect. But I would get it."

A la Carte user information

Date:September 6, 2014
"Worse purchase ever!!! The user guide is hard to understand and does not cover nearly enough information. I have yet to find the camera information ,and its filled with apps I will never use.
I had to call Norton to get the security set because the link you sent me did not work.
Have not been able to set up desktop because the the people I have to talk to are in another country and I'm tired of say "I don't understand you" so I eventually become to frustrated to continue.
The most annoying thing is the multple ways to do the same thing. Called Lenovo but got no help because I was told I would have to pay a technician for the help I needed. By the way why would you try to tell me how to write a review?
As a retired IBM employee I Lenovo has fallen well below the standards I was used to over the past 20 years.

Love This All In One

Date:August 31, 2014
"Extremely happy with my purchase. Touch screen is a plus and I was able to install Virtualbox to run programs that only run on XP so it was a winner all around. Nice screen and graphics, easy to set up and customize. Looks nice and sleek on my desk and the display is great. 8.1 made the transition from XP easier than earlier versions, glad I waited.
Excellent value for general use.
