Cons: Display resolution, Bluetooth, Security Features, smudges on the body, keyboard is not rigid when pressing some keys
"First of all, I believe this is a better value than the Lenovo Yoga 2, which is in the same price range. The build quality and hardware is better too. I recommend the 256 GB SSD for the best overall speeds. The startup from shutdown state is around 8 seconds; the wakeup from sleep is snappy. This is very reliable for students or whoever needs to constantly close their laptop, move, and quickly resume. There are some minor flaws though, like the LCD screen has an irritable glare and the max screen brightness is average or below compared to other mainstream laptops. Overall this feels satisfactory and continue use makes me feel very confident in this purchase."
"The kiosk mode is a lifesaver and couch potatoes dream come true. I got the i7 version with 8gigs of RAM. It boots to the windows 8.1 lock screen in about 3 sec...vs. my i7 X1 carbon which boots in about 4 seconds. It connects to wifi instantly and internet explorer opens the home page in about 1 second. MS Office apps open in about 3 seconds. The keyboard is firm and clicky. Speakers are nice and loud. Touch pad is pretty good. Battery life is good but not super...I like the fact that its replaceable. And the screen resolution should have definitely been full HD considering this is a $800+ ultrabook. Backlit keyboard would have been A+. Its about a pound heavier that the X1 carbon but definitely lighter that the T430 series. Over all great value. This is a true work AND play laptop."
"I have got the i7 orange with 256GB SSD and it is super fast and even beats my i5 quad core desktop with 1GB graphics card when running need for speed world online. Cold start up only takes 2-3 seconds. Its connected to wifi in 0 seconds and instantly online. Battery life is great thanks to 4th gen i7. The SSD makes the PC super nimble. The plastic doesnt feel cheap and is quite decently finished. the 300 degree foldback mode looks good although i havent been using it that much. But still worth having I guess just for the cool factor.
The only (subjective) issues I have are with (1) the touchpad placed more leftwards than at center and (2) camera does not feel high quality.
It is the best value for money hands down and is an exciting product to own."
