Customer Reviews for ThinkPad X220 Tablet
Review 1 for ThinkPad X220 Tablet
excellent with win7 wish there was more with win8
Date:August 13, 2014
"I am really enjoying my x220 tablet and the ability to use it as both a pc and tablet. The weight is just right if may be a little heavy (but that expected when you carrying a large battery and a full computer with you. However Its always great to know i can quickly change the use with out having to remember to bring a keyboard with just regular tablets. My only complaint is that the lack of lenovo support for the x220 when trying to install windows 8 (which makes the laptop even better then windows 7). as an example the battery management tool that comes with win 7 gives me an average of almost 5hrs of battery life. In Win8 there is no lenovo power manager and I get barely 3.3 hrs of life. I know the x230 was designed for win8 but x220 is just as good and should have more support."
"for the price of this item i thought it would be the best ever. However, I have had to reset my computer multiple times losing all my documents and information. the battery life on my thinkpad is completely awful so therefore i have to be around an outlet at all times while using. There is not a HDMI port, instead there is multiple USB ports."
"I used this machine for eight months before writing this review. My previous two laptops were both IBM X-series laptops, and they each lasted five years. This is my first Lenovo, and I will not purchase another one.
The good: the machine is fast. But for more than $2300, it should be.
The bad: The stylus is incredibly inaccurate and the feature is useless. This is a shame, because I purchased this machine as a convertible tablet specifically for taking notes in class during my MBA program. This technology is not ready for prime time. Period.
Now, after eight months, the screen has failed. It has been at the repair center for more than two weeks. This is my last Lenovo."
