"This is a sturdy, responsive system..for the price you can't beat the quality of it. As a #DellRefugee I find this Lenovo quite refreshing.
It was between this model and the K430. Being that the K430 only has support out of the country and they would only warranty it for 3 years with no Priority available, I got the M92p
I will be upgrading the video card to the AMD 7750 ASAP.
Since this system has been running it hasn't even given me a hiccup in it's performance.
I highly recommend this system... I can tell it will last ...."
Cons: Video card, Display resolution, Memory, Included Software, Build Quality, Display performance
"I would have rated this Workstation 5 stars but due to fact that I have had to replace 2 - 1tb hard drives in less than 4 months it rates 2 stars.
The second Lenovo DVD burner is useless because the main cover panel/plate obstructs the button that you have to press to open the DVD Burner. To hopefully correct this issue, management at Lenovo told me that they are sending me mounting rails that should raise the added DVD/Optical Drive up to a sufficient height so that the button can be accessed.
If the rails are received and do in fact correct the accessibility issue for the DVD Burner, I will update this report. I will also update this report when I receive the new workstation. The workstation will function ok with 8GB ram, but I would suggest at a minimum 16GB."
"We use the Tiny M92p at remote sites to run our backup agent that gathers data from servers and talks back to the Data Center. The box is powerful enough to compress and encrypt data and is small and rugged for shipping to remote locations. Perfect fit for our application. I highly recommmed the M92p."
