"Firstly this laptop gives you one of the best spec Vs cost ratio. The performance is really good, awesome boot up time and response. I am impressed with the performance so far except in very rare occasions. My Lenovo has core i7 +Nvidia GEForce GT630 M; 8GB RAM (Configured for 4GB and upgraded to 8GB once I got it). Very steardy looking laptop too. Only glitch I could see is the naive issues like no led on the front to say whether its charging or not. Also the placing of CTRL key. Apart from that I am pleased with the Lenovo E530. Also an issue worth noting is the camera is not good enough. It does saturates colurs and some how it is not very clear. I am still crossing my fingers thinking that its an issue with my camera alone but do check with your friends before buying.
Performance, reliability and responsiveness is really good. Infact pricing too. Some minor usability issues and camera are the ones to look out for."
"I spent sometime looking at many laptops and notebooks before purchasing Lenovo's excellent ThinkPad Edge E530. Apart from its speed with the latest 3rd Generation i7 processor, the build quality of the unit is the most solid I have found, so don't be fooled into thinking that its low price means less quality with Lenovo. The keyboard has an excellent and professional feel - probably the best I have found on any laptop. The machine is absolutely silent in operation and the sound quality of the speakers is second to none. The boot time is super fast with use of the Seagate Momentus and programs load in no time at all. Battery life is also good and charges extremely fast too. My reason for a 4 Star rating being that I would like a higher screen resolution but love the screen size, and wish I had added the GeForce graphic card as the onboard Intel HD Graphic 4000 is the only thing reducing this machine getting a higher Windows Performance of 5.3 with Aero. But everything has room for improvement! Great stuff Lenovo, keep it up!!"
"I bought the high end model, i7 Geforce GT630, the performance was good. However the build quality although not terrible certainly was not to the Thinkpad Standard, was fairly heavy, but the case was still stronger than many other laptops. The Trackpoint and Keyboard was of very good. Annoyingly the 1600x900 screen option was limited to blue or red, I wanted black, and the RAM is limited to 8GB. I also paid an extra £20 for a wireless card that turned out to be slower than the standard intel! The main problem for me is the Touchpad is hurrendous, due to the built in buttons. Also with my model I have had a intermittent charging problem, for these reasons I will be sending mine back. I expected better for the £830 it cost me!"
