Excellent Value Tablet for Mobile User

Date:07 September 2013
Pros: Processor, Memory, Screen size, Storage, Display performance
Cons: no gsm voice
"I got the A3000 to replace an A2107A, the A3000 fixes all of the A2107A deficiencies except the missing GSM voice calling. 1024x600 resolution screen is fine for a 7in tablet and kinder to the battery. HSPA+ data runs at 16Mbps from my local cell tower. The quad cpu makes everything snappy and there is no synch problems with streaming video. Finally an OTA update "fused" the two internal partition into one so there is now 13GB of app space instead of the 1GB out of the box. Not quite as well constructed as the A2107A, the back "creaks" a bit, but as good as any Samsung."

A3000 excellent value tablet, shame about the fone

Date:01 September 2013
Pros: Input/Output compatibility, Processor, Memory, Storage, Display performance
Cons: no voice telephony
"Lenovo have replaced the good A2107A with the excellent A3000. With one exception they have fixed all of the A2107A deficiencies and produced a best buy value tablet for the "on the go" user. The single failing is the lack of voice telephony in the European version. An OTA update "fuses" the internal partitions so there is 13GB available for apps and other files, no more fighting to keep enough apps memory free for updates. The IPS screen is still not super hi res but at 1024x600 better on the battery and perfectly suitable for a 7in screen. The quad CPU means everything is in sync and no lags anywhere. Downloads from my local 3G tower exceed 16Mbps. All for £150 (from a Lenovo listed retailer)."
