"This battery (# 3 for the laptop) replaced a non-Lenovo larger capacity.Many look for the biggest battery they can find. This smaller size has sufficient power for my mobility needs and keeps the laptop small enough without a bulge sticking out. The laptop also fits better in my carry bag. I suspect, but have not measure, that this battery keeps the computer going almost as long as the larger non-Lenovo battery."

A solid battery if you take care of it

"I've had this battery since I got my computer new 3 years ago. I've been somewhat careful to take care of it, but there have been several extended periods of time where I simply left it plugged in constantly (ie never drained it even a little) because I wasn't moving my laptop at all. I still get ~2.5 hours of use out of it when its fully charged with my power settings at maximum performance. I got my computer through RPI's mobile computing program, so I know many other people with the exact same battery and laptop as mine. I've heard many other reviews which are not nearly as positive, and I know many people who had to replace theirs after the first year. Most of these people did not even try to maintain their batteries though, so I think that was probably the problem. My personal experience with this battery has been nothing less than excellent, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who will be able to remember to fully discharge and recharge it it about once a month. The 1-year warranty seems pretty short to me, but its probably pretty standard for any battery."
