"To compare with some workstation just like my M18x with Quadro in it or W530 Series, this X230T has an light weight and can take to anywhere u like with about 10-hours battery life.(with Dock battery)
Compared to some Tablet and something between tablet and laptop such as Twist and Lenovo Tablet. You know those CPU and GPU compared to i7 is totally rubbish. You can not run any enterprise software on it. Office Suit, CAD, MAX, Maya..............When u have something to show to your customers or boss, you do not want to take your suitcase with u.
Twist function is not useful than i think. If u can, choose X230 instead of X230T, because it has better performance and cheap price.
The last thing i want to say, give back the keyboard! Please!"
"I have the top of the range machine yet still it is slow to use. The tablet function doesn't work well and despite many effort I can't get the pen to calibrate to make it usable, the cursor floats about 0.5cm in front of the pen nib. The Bluetooth mouse seems to forget its connected to the laptop and you have to keep sync'ing them. Overall, I would not recommend."
"I have the highest spec machine and in general it is very disappointing to work with. The transition between tablet/pc is not smooth at all and the screen rotation is very clumsy.
The touch screen is pretty good but doesn't make up for the fact thats its an absolute beast to carry around in one hand. The response is sometimes a bit laggy when switching between pen and finger touch.
Personally I would not recommend buying this machine and suggest waiting to see what new laptop/tablet options become available with Windows 8."
