Quite a balance

Pros: Weight, Durability, Build Quality, Input/Output compatibility

Cons: Video card, Battery, 7mm bay

"Battery life is anemic with 8GB of memory and roughly 2:30 with 4GB. Disk upgrade options are very limited. Another 50g of battery and a standard 9.5mm HDD bay would be worth it. Seems that was shaved to hit the sub 4lb target.

Video card seems to have trouble with outputting 1080p and basic 3D applications.

All that said it is a very solid machine that won't break your back."

Best laptop I ever have

"just got the laptop yesterday. it is simply the best for professional users. it looks like a big laptop but so light. my company gave me a DELL E6410. it is a piece of junk compared to this T420s"
