Cons: Support, Battery, Security Features, Keyboard/peripherals, Included Software, Display performance
"overall it is a great laptop for everything like games, streaming, photos, music, etc. I just started getting into computers for about 2 months now, and i use this alot for gaming and sometimes school work. For the graphics card it could be better for the price but it works good(partially because of my internet). For example i can play bf4: medium to high, dayz: normal, maybe a little higher (i cant play much higher because of my bad internet). waht else could be better is the trackpad, sometimes unresponsive and touchy. The software (windows 8.1) is not good for gaming, (but it doesnt really have much to do with the computer). The keyboard could be better, (sometimes accidentaly hit wrong key). last the glare is pretty bad in the sun. otherwise great multimedia laptop!"
"First of all for the money, this is amazing. Top of the line specs for a laptop plus its really future proof thanks to user up-gradable memory to 16gb and ultrabay that allows you to add second graphics card or hardrive which is unlike anything ive seen on other laptops, best laptop in terms of upgrade-ability. Games play amazing however to have best quality you need to plug it to power source otherwise performance dips to save battery. Speaking of which battery is pretty bad. the screen is surprisingly bad too, I mean the black levels are a joke and terrible viewing angles. But thank god I have an external monitor so I dont mind that much. And its quite portable for whats inside too so you can carry it with you .btw the speakers are amazing!"
Cons: Input/Output compatibility, Keyboard/peripherals, Included Software
"Things got a little better once I turned off the keyboard lighting. Ugly! I have the Canadian model which has enough characters on each key to make looking at the keyboard distracting, quite unlike the look of another non-Windows company that makes English and French models. It's not like the keyboard they show in the product pics on the Canadian Lenovo website.
The trackpad is okay, but not great.
So far it seems to work nicely. I'll probably modify the computer in a while with a 'real' SSD, but for now it's more than functional. The price is reasonable for what is included."
