M78 SFF what a sweet deal

Date: June 6, 2014
"The M78 SFF with window 8.0 and upgraded to 8.1 is a sweet machine. I upgraded the memory using components bought online and the ease of getting to the slots was amazing. This machine is designed for easy upgrade and has plenty of processing power to do so. I am running twin HD monitors and the video is outstanding. The speed of the A8 processor is great and I do not know what I did before getting a quad core processor. Thanks for the great and speedy service."

"I bought this computer for the Lenovo name, and I find that it is very slow. When I am on the internet it seems to bog down if I have several windows open, and it loads pages slower than my laptops.
I have it connected to a five year old monitor and it constantly goes back and forth in its settings. At times the monitor will not even come on, and I have to reboot to make it work.
I am not sure if all of the issues are with Windows 8 or with the computer itself, but if I could return it now, I would. As I write this and the screen flickers back and forth, I am contemplating buying a $300+ monitor, or just getting an integrated computer/monitor specifically for Windows 8, or a computer loaded with Windows 7.

Great Value

"Always been a believer in Lenovo PC's with good reliability and the M78 is my first experience with a non-intel processor. I was not impressed with the bundled software, but after removing a good bit of it I'm finding the PC performs quite well. I will add more memory and I'm sure the performance will improve. I had to use a different printer driver for my existing Canon printer because Win7 didn't have a compatible driver but it works fine with the different model driver; of course not the PC's fault."
