Well Engineered Machine

Date: June 9, 2014
"This machine is overall a great design and also provides good capacity for upgrades. Surprisingly, the cables, HD, graphics card, etc are pretty neatly organized. I upgraded to an SSD and still using the factory 4gb ram and the machine is performing very fast, absolutely no complaints there. Conclusion: For the money I think it is a good looking and great performing machine."

keyboard and mouse

Date: May 13, 2014
"Received 7 M83 desktops.
One had mouse that didn't work (wasn't assembled properly).
Another had a bad keyboard (keys on right side of keyboard didn't work)
Otherwise, units were very fast and reliable.

Quality decline

Date: May 4, 2014
"Our company purchased some of these workstations for our clients. While the machines had no issues-- upon taking a look inside low quality electrolytic capacitors were used (instead of high quality Rubycon or Nichicon), along with a low quality power supply that had messy voltages.
These machines will no doubt fail within a few years. Also, the boards were not developed by Lenovo, but instead outsourced. So... considering Lenovo isn't even doing any R&D on these systems, there's little reason to buy them.
But that's why they're so cheap. And that's what people want."

disappointment

Date: April 18, 2014
"Two new machines both had issues: 1) the CD drawer would not open 2) the other had a bad mother board.
Does not seem quality assurance is important."
