Bought this with my ThinkPad Edge 14", and it is really great. Feels very well made and holds pretty much everything I tried to put in it other than a cooling pad. Although I'm sure I could fit a more "Slim" design cooling pad, but I have my own personal preferences on that. But it is currently holding manuals and restore CDs of course, wireless mouse, external HDD, external FDD, some 3.5" floppy disks, a couple blank CDs and DVDs, a few flash drives and SD cards, and usually, my cell phone charger and camera with charger. And of course the obvious notebook with AC adapter. Doesn't seem to be over stuffed either. I even bought some mini locks for the zipper just for added touch. Not that it could keep out an intruder, but it looks nice.

Excellent value and quality! I fly weekly and the top load feature is what I need for quick open and access to get me through security. Since it's sold by Lenovo it's sized right for my T500 with good protective padding and plenty of room for files and other portable office needs. It's durable and the shoulder strap well designed for comfort and fit. Save yourself time and frustration searching for something else - buy it!

I am very satisfied with this laptop briefcase. It has a slim, functional, and professional profile which works well with the T400 laptop I purchased. The sedate style, quality, and construction of the materials are very good. I originally purchased the Business Backpack, but returned it as it seemed too bulky and juvenile (Hello juicebox!). This case is designed to be slim and will hold your your laptop and several files very easily; but it will not accomodate bulky materials -such as large files or books - very easily. I highly recommend this case to you if you are purchasing a Thinkpad and want to transport it in an uncomplicated, well-built, yet unassuming and elegant case.

Case is wonderful one small problem. My brand new Lenovo SL510 15.6" screen laptop will not fit into it. I had to use a different case. I chose to keep the case for a smaller laptop.

I've had several shoulder and backpack type laptop cases and I have to say the design and functionality of the briefcase style carrier is simply exquisite. My 15" Thinkpad with a 9cell battery rest perfectly within a well padded secured slot while I have room for papers and reports within the main compartment. The exterior pockets have storage pockets for the power supply, cords, pcmcia cards, pens, pads, disk, etc etc etc The shoulder strap is well padded and extremely comfortable resting even when fully packed for the road trip

Best bag to protect my business machine.

OK. So it's not sexy. Who cares. It will protect my machine (and by extension my livelihood) should I drop it, heaven forbid, or it is otherwise mishandled.
The bag's capacity is perfect for cords, numeric keypad, etc., client files, supplies, and a few personal items.
Those patented air cushion things are serious! Of course one could still slam the machine somehow to ruin it. But it really is more protected in this bag than in any other I've seen or used.
