This battery has given me 2 years of excellent service. I work techno-nomadically most of the time. If you regularly use this Thinkpad battery it will give you 2 years of great service. I'm still using it right now as I type looking to buy a new one. Even at 2 years of age it blows away the smaller standard battery. In the last month the performance has dropped off considerably but I am still getting more than two hours on a charge. I'm thinking of adding the Ultra Bay Battery in my DVD bay so I never need to plug in during my work day.

Great Battery Life, Decent Value

I get 6 hours of battery life from this battery. It definitely makes my laptop heavier and therefore less portable, but it's great because I don't need to carry my adapter with me to class. I've had the battery for at least a year and had to get it b/c my other one died on me after 2-3 yrs.

For The most part the battery is good value. You can stay un plugged longer. However like all things you have to take good care of it. If you spend most of your time plugged in, this probably isn't for you. I had to replace my first one because I neglected it. Also the shape, although ergonomic, becomes a problem when you carry in computer bags. Try to buy a size up or your battery will always be sticking out. Otherwise a very good battery for people who are on the move.

Incredible performance

Up untill now I have used the ThinkPad Battery 33+ (6cell) for my r400 computer but about a month ago I got my hands on one of theese. Before I had about 3-4 hours fully charged now I have above 5 on highest performence settings with ease! Unfortunately the battery is big and expensive. If not I woul'd with ease give it five stars for it's incredible performance :)
