Very nice complement to my Thinkpad T500 Notebook.
Build quality is second to none, and I haven't felt a better built mouse in years. The only thing that I can remember that comes close was my first Microsoft PS2 Intellimouse. This thing is built like a tank, and very over engineered. The battery bay of all things is a beauty of engineering with a spring loaded hinge that makes the entire cover flip up like a car hood to replace the batteries. The paint is the same that you find on the ThinkPad, being the slightly rubber black texture, that holds up great showing little wear.

The Mobile Mouse

This mouse is fantastic! The mobility is great and it fits nicely in hand. It would be even better if it would automatically turn of to save battery life or was usb rechargeable. But don't let that stop you with the ultimate in convenience for laptop mouses.
I agree with trek87's review on all except the price point. I looked at the competing mice in the store but in the end I bought this off the Lenovo store because many of the other brand fancy mice were more expensive.
This is a high quality mouse. One worry I had going to a Bluetooth mouse was that tracking might be delayed because of a wireless link but I see now it feels more responsive or precise than my 3 year old tethered mouse. The buttons and overall feel is solid which I think is because of the tracking precision and the buttons click immediately (exactly when your brain is expecting it). Another thing I didn't think of ahead of time was the connect time, but as it turns out it connects fast -- similar or faster than connecting a USB device.
I bought this for my T61p integrated bluetooth, and it's been working flawlessly for the past week. The included setup package install was easy, and it quickly discovered my mouse. Just make sure you have the bluetooth service started; if you're as liberal as I am about keeping background processes to a minimum, you might forget to enable it before the software tries to pair with the mouse. The buttons and top have the nice feel similar to the LCD back cover (that almost smooth rubbery plastic), and you can tell it isn't a cheap mouse when you click the buttons. The tracking is great too - much better than the wireless laser mouse I have been using. I also like how it isn't as high as my old mouse, so you don't feel a cramped hand at the end of the day. It takes 2 AA batteries - I'm still using the ones that came included in the box. The other awesome feature is the 3-way scroll wheel - you can click it left, right, or press it down and you can customize all three. So for those counting that makes 5 functions total. There's also a nice on/off switch on the bottom, and it will go into sleep mode to save power if you leave it sit for awhile. A lot of people complain about other mice that take too long to wake up, but this one recovers quickly. I also do a lot of hibernate/standby/dock/undock/startup/shutdowns since I'm always on the go, and I haven't had any issues with my Thinkpad finding the mouse. You simply either turn the thing on beforehand, or just turn it on after you start up your machine and you're set - it doesn't seem to matter. I love the quality of this mouse, and it's by far the best one I've owned. A lower price would have been nice, but it's little to pay for this little gem.
